Our lawful bases for the collection and use of your data
Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information to provide services and goods to you are:
Contract – we have to collect or use the information so we can enter into or carry out a contract with you. All of your data protection rights may apply except the right to object.
Consent – we have permission from you after we gave you all the relevant information. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to object. To be clear, you do have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
Where we get your personal information from
We obtain your personal information directly from you. We may also obtain your personal information from a rental or housing agency who have instructed us to provide property services on your behalf.
How long we keep information
We only keep personal data for as long as we need it for the purposes of carrying out our essential business services.
We must keep customer and business records for at least 5 years after the 31 January submission deadline of the relevant tax year for HM Revenue and Customs ( HMRC ) to check our records to make sure we’re paying the right amount of tax.
When we no longer need your personal data, we destroy it securely.
